The Waiting List for the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program of the Cities of Hollister and San Juan Bautista are currently open. For information about how many families are currently on the waiting list, and when applicants currently being processed placed their names on the waiting list, click here.
How to Apply
If you would like to be added to the Waiting List, you must complete a Pre-Application form and return it to the Housing Authority. You may obtain a Pre-application on our website by clicking here, or you may request a Pre-Application by calling our office at (831) 637-0487 and pressing 7 or TDD (831) 462-6720 or by writing to the Housing Authority at 2931 Mission Street, Santa Cruz CA 95060. Or, you may pick up a Pre-Application at our Santa Cruz or Hollister office during our regular office hours. Applications will be placed on the Waiting List by the date the application was received by the Housing Authority.
If you need assistance completing a Pre-Application you may reach our Program Information Center by calling (831) 637-0487 and then pressing one.
Your wait for assistance may be long. We cannot predict when your name will reach the top of the waiting List. The Housing Authority is currently processing applications for households that applied in April 15, 2004.
