RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS

The Housing Authority offers a variety of rental assistance programs for low income households in Santa Cruz and San Benito County. For a quick overview of the Housing Authority's rental programs, read our Housing Programs Q&A.

For the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program, which provides rental assistance for tenants living in homes or apartments in the private market, click here.

The Housing Authority does not provide emergency housing assistance. All of our programs require some kind of application process, and many have long waiting lists. If you have immediate housing needs, please see the list of Community Resources on our Links page.
